ABOUT THE HOST:
Astrid Mueller, who triumphed over stage 4 breast cancer, is a breast cancer thriver, author, speaker, and wellness consultant. Through her virtual retreats and wellness programs, she supports cancer patients in their emotional and mental well-being, enhancing their life quality and accelerating their healing.
In her healing journey, she discovered the transformative power of joy, and strategically chose to do wellness things for her ful-person: body, emotions, mind, spirit, and soul to optimize her healing.
This approach helped her reduce stress, supporting her immune system and minimizing treatment side-effects, develop strong resilience and coping tools, and a vibrant zest for life. Astrid became acutely aware that most patients do NOT seem to do so well, and that comprehensive wellness support like Astrid sought-out and used for her own healing does NOT seem easily accessible to most patients (!)
Also, with more than 2000 people diagnosed each year with cancer in Alaska, there is not near enough support available yet.
Astrid Mueller wants to change this. Be part of the change by attending or supporting this event, and help bring a new level of comprehensive support to patients!
